WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT DURING THE DESIGN PROCESS?
The design process includes a series of meetings with your Back Yaaad team to create a floor plan and home layout that addresses your wants and needs. Keep in mind this varies depending on the complexity of the project. Larger-scale projects will most likely require more time than simpler modifications and remodels. We heavily weight the design process to help make sure we have a solid roadmap before beginning.
HOW LONG DOES THE DESIGN PROCESS TAKE?
It depends on how involved the project is, e.g. either a small remodel or entire home build. The design process also typically includes talking with any local zoning and planning officials, design review boards, or homeowners' associations, which can influence the design process timeframe.
HOW DO I KNOW IF MY PROJECT IS FEASIBLE?
We don’t like to disappoint, and sometimes that means having hard conversations, but it also means getting creative if clients have a wish list that doesn’t entirely align with their budget. By putting in the work upfront, and mapping out project size, desired materials, subcontractors, landscapers, and more, we can decide early on if your project is feasible, and if there are areas in which we need to look at alternative solutions.
CAN YOU WORK WITH MY BUDGET?
Absolutely. We’ve kept our business small for exactly that reason. We don’t believe in hidden costs or fees or driving up project prices. We like to see people end up with their dream home. The budget conversation is an important one that we address early in the project to establish a realistic approach.
WHAT IS THE TYPICAL FEE STRUCTURE FOR REMODELING SERVICES?

WHAT SERVICES DO YOU OFFER FOR DESIGN+BUILD?
We provide clients with an initial project feasibility assessment, home build or remodel design services, interior design, and complete general contracting.
WILL YOU WORK WITH MY ARCHITECT?
Yes! While we do offer in-house home design services, we’re always happy to work with your architect or draftsperson.
